Abstract

The objective of this work to expose the family orientation of first grade schoolchildren with intellectual disabilities so that they can successfully achieve the proposed skills constitutes, taking into account the fundamental role of the family due to its educational function in the social behavior manifested by children, closely influenced by the rules of conduct that are practiced in the home. For the development of the same, the methods were applied: analysis-synthesis, modeling, interviews with parents, interviews with managers, interviews with teachers, pedagogical tests, observation of classes, observation of schoolchildren and percentage analysis, showing as results the fulfillment of the objectives of the preparation stage of the schoolchildren of the selected sample.
