Abstract

The technological advances that humanity has made for centuries have given rise to different forms of medical care. The attention in intensive care units, based on the historical evolution and the advancement of technological devices, generated the need for spaces where patients could be under surveillance, to be cared for with more attention due to their severity, especially when I used a ventilatory support. This research aims to reflect from science approaches the use of technology and non-invasive ventilation as a treatment option in terminally ill and chronic respiratory patients.
