Abstract

In order to deepen the thinking and work of Fidel Castro Ruz, their positions related to the training of agricultural technicians of medium and higher level, expressed in speeches delivered between 1953 and 1974, are valued for this purpose, documentary analysis and systematization of ideas related to the objective. A first approach to his systemic and integrative thinking in this area, allows to define their positions: about entering agricultural careers; the continuing education of the professional; the role of practice in the training process; teacher training to train technicians and engineers; the relationship between agriculture and health in the field of training of doctors and engineers and attention to technicians and engineers to promote their continuous training.
