Initial diagnosis of the practice of physical activity in university students

The purpose of this work focused on making a diagnosis about the practice of physical activity and its impact on the teaching-learning process, in the different sciences declared in the student´s curriculum, from the University of Machala, Ecuador. Research, of an exploratory nature, used quantitative methods to determine the main difficulties related to this practice. The results showed limitations that students have in the practice of physical activity and the need to continue perfecting the Physical Culture program in the university community.
