Resumen

Este estudio pretende determinar el material eficaz de regeneración pulpar entre el MTA y el Biodentine, en recubrimiento pulpar directo de dientes permanentes. Para ello se realizó una revisión de la literatura entre 2015 y 2021. El estudio es de alcance descriptivo de tipo retrospectivo y diseño no experimental de corte transversal. El enfoque es cualitativo, donde se empleó una estrategia PICO. Para ello, se consideró artículos experimentales in vitro, in vivo, ensayos clínicos, revisiones de literatura. Los resultados obtenidos permitieron concluir que el Biodentine y el MTA, como material biocompatible y bioinductor en recubrimiento pulpar directo, tiene un excelente éxito. Sin embargo, el MTA induce una respuesta inflamatoria menor y causa decoloración coronal, siendo potenciado por NaOCl. Además, el Biodentine forma un tejido mineralizado más rápido, ancho y no causa decoloración coronal.
