Interdisciplinary study in the literature of Fina García Marruz
Abstract
The present work develops the concept of silence applied to the literary thinking of Fina García Marruz. The research aims, from the analysis of silence as a Greco-Roman resource of oratory, to throw out elements that characterize the author's origin. As general methods, the historical-logical method was used to establish the link between work, author and context; while the analytical-synthetic method was implemented for the organization and processing of the acquired information. As specific methods, documentary observation, content analysis and contextual analysis were taken into account. This approach suggests that literary silence transcends a certain position towards language. In this sense, it is analyzed as an exhortation used by the studied author in order to express her concerns better.
