Evaluation of motivation and emotional education programs in secondary education: An analytical look at international programs

Abstract

The present work aims to analyce the evaluation processen and results of diferente motivation and emotional education programs addressed to secondary students and/or adolescents from the results of their evaluation results. In order to achieve rhis goal, a theoretical approach to program evaluation and meta-evaluation is made, as well as a review of the acedemicliteratura from which evaluations of emotional education and motivation programs are selected and compared. Finally, a meta-evaluation is performed through the application af standards. The results show that evaluations are generally conducted internally and in a summativa manner, focusing on the results of implementation rather tan on the process
