Critical thinking programs as a soft skill in education
Abstract
This article aims to reflect on the understanding of critical thinking as a soft skill, with the purpose of specifically proposing a theoretical, methodological and practical orientation for future educational programs for the development of critical thinking. A documentary research focused on scientific production of the last five years was carried out, considering two nuclei of analysis: 1.- the importance of developing soft skills and 2.- critical thinking as a soft ability. The results show that the implementation of programs in Education for the development of critical thinking must consider the essential characteristics of soft skills, which will guarantee a more contextualized proposal aligned to the current socio-labor spaces.
