Educational policies for the integration of technologies of the information and the communications in the educational system

Abstract

The descriptive study of type bibliographical review responds to the qualitative model, realized with the objective of analyzing the importance of the educative public policies of integration of the technologies of the information and the communications (TIC) in the Ecuadorian educative system. The methodological strategy was systematized by the hermeneutic, exegetical and analytical-synthetic methods. The results of the investigations made allow us to affirm that ICT constitute an important technological advance of communication in the different areas of the field of information technology; thanks to its characteristics of immateriality, interactivity, instantaneity, innovation, automation, interconnectivity, diversity and digitalization of the image and sound; It has become a valuable ally of educational processes. Given its importance, in Ecuador there is a legal framework as part of these policies on which its integration in the country's educational system is based.
