“We are Fidel”: a refreshing look at teacher training

Abstract

The formation in values constitutes a premise in the general integral formation of the teachers in formation. The implementation of educational strategies is the scenario par excellence to carry out this honorable mission in the pedagogical careers of the University of the East, bringing with it the application of curricular, extracurricular and ideological policy activities that pay tribute to the Professional Model. This paper is aimed at highlighting the figure of Fidel Castro Ruz, the quintessential paradigm of education. The political and revolutionary thought of Fidel will have a permanent value in the formation of teachers, a man of deep moral virtues.
