Reflective thought in the formation of values in students of the Initial Education career
Abstract
The present study aims to carry out an analysis from a socio-critical perspective on reflective thinking and the formation of ethical values in students. For this, related topics such as metacognitive, cognitive, social and emotional skills are addressed; ethical values, attitudes, social and cultural coexistence. The methodology that was applied is documentary research, prioritizing reliable and current sources. The results of this study demonstrate the strong link between reflective thinking and the formation of ethical values and the need to attend the training process from an axiological and reflective perspective. It is concluded that in teaching practice it is important to promote reflective thinking from a graduation profile where the student is able to offer contextual solutions, for this it is important that the teacher as a mediator promotes spaces and activities for self-awareness of the actions and productions in students.
