Student leadership, a necessity in the initial training of the Education professional

Abstract

In this research, actions are offered to contribute to the development of student leadership as a very important aspect in the initial development of education professionals, with the main objective of eliminating barriers and taking advantage of the potential that students of the different careers, in correspondence with the priorities of the study plans, especially taking into account their needs, aspirations, motives and interests for the current performance and their future as educational policy guides in their professional role. It is about university educational management to guarantee competent, capable, responsible and committed professionals with ethical, pedagogical and sociological principles, giving priority to the tasks and functions of the educational professional. Methods of the theoretical level analysis and synthesis and the inductive deductive, and the empirical level, the survey, the interview and the socialization workshop were used.
