Problem-based learning and its influence on the development of critical thinking in peruvian education
Abstract
At present, the development of critical thinking is recognized as a global need, education being a primary factor for this, however, there are not always educational strategies that offer relevant routes to achieve this noble intention with the required quality. That is why the present study aims to reflect on the potentialities of Problem-Based Learning (PBL) in the development of critical thinking (CPD). The main method used is documentary analysis, in this way the literature review was organized into three fundamental axes: 1.- theoretical-conceptual aspects of PBL, 2.- theoretical-conceptual aspects of CPD and 3.- binding aspects of the ABP and DPC. The main results show that the PBL can become a viable educational strategy for the development of critical thinking, since it allows the teacher to structure situations based on problems that the student must face critically, making decisions that allow their resolution and thus dynamize His learning.
