Information and Communication Technologies, research competences and university teaching: systematic review
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to know the relationship of information and communication technologies, research and university teaching in their professional practice. A systematic review was used as a method, following the Prisma guidelines of the studies in Scopus and Scielo, including a total of 52 studies. The results categorically indicate that there are notorious deficiencies in the application of information and communication technologies in university teachers, which are reflected in the low scientific production. The systematic review concludes that universities should promote training, teachers should get involved in a network of contacts to improve these skills.
