Effectiveness of compensatory corrective work in Behavior Schools
Abstract
The objective of this article is to analyze the effectiveness of compensatory corrective work carried out in schools of conduct and comprehensive training with adolescents with behavioral disorders, as a basis for an increasingly inclusive educational practice in general education, from preventive work with the school, agencies, educational agents and the multidisciplinary intervention of specialists. The referents were based on a single case study and on the ethnomethodological method under a qualitative methodology. They formed the determined adolescent study groups of the School of Conduct II Osvaldo Socarrás; educators from the Antonio Maceo Comprehensive Training School (EFI), both from Santiago de Cuba. It was concluded that educational work with adolescents with behavioral disorders does not generally augur the desired modification in behavior from its correction and compensation.
