Recreational activities for sports interaction with low vision and deaf people

Authors

Abstract

The fundamental objective of this research is to develop recreational activities for integration through Athletics with low vision and deaf students from the special provincial schools of Santiago de Cuba. The main antecedents of this research are: Bell Rodríguez and López (2016); Fernández (2017); Gomendio (2019); Pascual (2019). These authors, even when they highlight the importance of physical activity in disabled people, do not cover, from their proposals, the most appropriate forms for a sports relationship. In solving the problem, various methods were used: theoretical, analysis-synthesis, observation, investigation techniques, including the interview and the survey. The results provide recreational activities in which low vision and deaf people are integrated. The proposal also contributes to orienting and developing a didactic process for attention to diversity.
