Historical-logical considerations about the Dermatologist's formation process in Cuba

Abstract

Postgraduate academic training aims at postgraduate education with high professional competence and advanced capabilities for research and innovation. This article analyzes the training of the resident in Dermatology, using the logical historical method to reveal the trends and regularities that characterize this process. For this, information from different sources was selected, such as: curricula and improvement programs as well as other literatures of the specialty of Dermatology, which have allowed the present historical trend study. The objective of this article is to assess the historical and logical course of this postgraduate process based on the studies that allow us to understand and interpret it.
