Prepare the Angolan family for social inclusion from the Guidance Diagnosis Center

Authors

Abstract

One of the most striking life events that the family can go through is related to the presence of a child with special characteristics in their development, who do not meet the expectations or the ideal model that the couple had formed. In Angola, the birth of a child with a disability is embarrassing for the family because the deficiency is seen as evidence of the forces of evil. Therefore, it was necessary to carry out this study from the Centro Diagnóstico Orientação (CDO) with the aim of preparing the family to promote the social inclusion of students with intellectual disabilities.
