The animal handling from the agronomic training formation. An approximation to its current state

Abstract

With the aim of presenting some reflections on the current state of agronomic training in animal management, a diagnostic study was carried out to agronomists in professional practice in the province of Santiago de Cuba. The research included the application of surveys, analysis and documentary review , it is concluded that, the limited active participation of agronomists in professional activities related to animal production, is given by a weak professional motivation towards this field of professional action, which results in insufficiencies in their agro productive training, which limits the integration of vegetable and animal production in their professional performance.
