Professional improvement for mediation in interpersonal conflicts in the pre-university context

Abstract

One of the main functions for the exercise of the profession that counts every professional of the education is the one of mediation, this is inevitable in the interaction that takes place in the frames of the different educational contexts where it develops its work. To a large extent, the quality of the performance of its mediation function conditions the quality of the results that it obtains in its professional work. The objective of this article is to characterize the process of permanent teacher training at the pre-university level. In order to know the current situation of the field of action of the present investigation, the following instruments were applied: documentary analysis, observation of teaching and extradocentes activities, interview to professors, teacher survey, interview to students, questionnaire to specialists.
