Importance of graphoplastic techniques in fine motor skills in children 4 to 6 years of age
Abstract
Graphoplastic techniques play an important role in the teaching-learning process, understood as a means to develop literacy and comprehensive stimulation of the infant, such as his creative and expressive imagination. Thus, the objective of this research is to show the importance of graphoplastic techniques in fine motor skills in children 4 to 6 years of age. The methodology used has a descriptive scope, with a qualitative approach and a non-experimental design. Two instruments were used for data collection, a survey directed at parents and a checklist for evaluating the children. The results obtained show that when applying the graphoplastic techniques workshop, the children improved their motor and visual-motor skills by 58.3%, all of which is positive in the integral and satisfactory development of the infant. In conclusion, graphoplastic techniques are of vital importance in the first years of the child's development, which allow a good fine motor development and visual-motor coordination to be achieved in infants.
