Web redesign methodology to improve information management in the Cuban university

Abstract

This article describes a consummate methodological proposal for the redesign of websites in the Cuban university; case "Faculty of Humanities of the University of Sancti Spíritus" through the appropriate use of visualization and information elements, with the aim of improving communication and information management within the Cuban university community. To carry out this research we rely on a predominantly qualitative methodology, based on a phenomenological study of an empirical-descriptive nature. The research allowed to appropriate the visualization and information elements in order to establish the websites as a communication tool, strengthening the information management within Cuban university institutions, from a redesign that complies with current standards.
