Importance of reflective critical thinking in nursing professional training to face COVID-19

Abstract

The objective is to analyze the importance of the development of reflective critical thinking from professional nursing training, so that it faces various health situations, such as COVID19. The method of documentary analysis was used, various sources were reviewed between indexed journals, scientific texts related to the subject under study. It is considered that in professional training, Nursing staff must develop their reflective critical thinking based on a high sense of belonging, commitment to work, development of feelings of altruism, decision-making, resilience, emotional, communication and social skills, management of biosafety and ethics in patient care.
