Didactic Units of Organic and Biological Chemistry for students of Engineering in Agronomy

Abstract

Taking into account the need to raise quality in the particular processes that take place in the Municipal University Center in Palma Soriano city, a methodological didactic work tool is proposed for the teaching-learning process of the Organic and Biological Chemistry subject. The work was focused on the development of teaching units based on the principles of Learning to Learn to enhance the effective development of this process in students of the blended modality of the Engineering in Agronomy degree. To collect information, student surveys were conducted before and after applying the designed strategy. The relevance of the didactic units was assessed by means of expert judgment. By comprehensively analyzing the results of the instruments, it could be seen that the designed strategy constitutes a methodological alternative that allows developing skills for self-learning in the conditions of universalization.
