Teachers santiagueros in the reconstruction of the biography of José Martí
Abstract
Eminent educators occupy a fundamental place in the long tradition of investigating the life and work of José Martí Pérez in Santiago de Cuba. In this work, the contribution of the Santiago teaching staff to the reconstruction of the biography of José Martí is valued and it is concluded that even though the priority trend is to carry out monographic investigations, in the last twenty-five years there has been a boost in these investigations with the appearance of contributions to his biography from the study of a period little studied and the monographic approaches to the links with relevant personalities.
